FittingPros.com (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit or use our Website.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, business details, and payment information (if purchasing a paid listing).
• Device and Usage Data: IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, pages visited, time spent on the site, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Some of our analytics providers record this as a replayable session of your visit.
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: Small files and comparable storage used to keep you signed in, remember your cookie choices, measure traffic, and support marketing. See Section 3.
• Third-Party Identification Data: Where permitted, our data partners may match your visit to information they already hold about you, which can include your name, employer, and business email address, even if you never filled out a form on our Website. See Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and manage directory listings.
• Process payments for paid plans.
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• Improve Website functionality and content.
• Understand which pages, fitters, and tools visitors find useful.
• Identify businesses and professionals who may benefit from a listing, and follow up with them.
• Send relevant updates or marketing communications (you can opt-out anytime).

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We group the technologies we use into three categories. You can review and change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page.

• Strictly Necessary: Required for the Website to function. These keep you signed in to your fitter dashboard (Supabase) and remember your cookie choice and approximate region. They cannot be turned off.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, PostHog (including session replay), Microsoft Clarity, and Ahrefs Analytics. These help us measure traffic and understand how the Website is used.
• Marketing and Visitor Identification: RB2B, described in Section 4.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics and marketing technologies do not load at all until you accept them. Elsewhere, they load by default and you may switch them off at any time.

Bot protection on our forms

Our fitting request form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. It runs invisibly, so there is usually nothing for you to click.

To make that check, Cloudflare collects your IP address, your browser’s user agent, a TLS fingerprint, and the key identifying our site. Cloudflare states that it cannot directly identify an individual from these signals, and uses them to tell people from bots rather than to profile you. Turnstile is strictly necessary for the form to work, so it is not covered by the cookie choices above and does not load anywhere other than on that form.

4. Third-Party Visitor Identification

When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout.

This identification is provided by RB2B. You can also prevent it entirely by turning off the “Marketing and Visitor Identification” category in Cookie Preferences, which stops the technology from loading on your device.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share data with:

• Analytics and product measurement providers: Google Analytics, PostHog, Microsoft Clarity, Ahrefs Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights.
• RB2B, for the visitor identification described in Section 4.
• Stripe, for payment processing.
• Supabase and Vercel, for hosting, authentication, and database services.
• Resend, for transactional and notification email.
• Cloudflare, for the bot protection on our forms described in Section 3.
• Sanity, for content management.
• Mapbox, for maps and location display.
• Legal authorities if required to comply with applicable laws.

6. Your Choices and Opt-Outs

• Cookie Preferences: Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page to turn analytics or marketing technologies on or off at any time.
• Visitor Identification Opt-Out: Opt out with our identification partner directly at https://app.retention.com/optout.
• Google Analytics: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Marketing Email: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, or email us at the address in Section 12.
• Global Privacy Control: We are working toward honoring browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control. Until that is in place, the Cookie Preferences link is the reliable way to record your choice with us.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access, update, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Request a portable copy of your personal data.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
• Opt out of targeted advertising and of the sharing of your personal information.
• Request information on data handling practices.
• Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under those laws. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, the third-party visitor identification described in Section 4 may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You may opt out of that sharing at any time through Cookie Preferences or the opt-out link in Section 6.

8. Third-Party Links

Our Website may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy policies or practices.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Website is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Website after updates means you accept the changes.
