Edwin Watts Golf Baton Rouge is a specialty retail shop offering golfers a wide range of equipment, apparel, accessories, and custom club fitting. Their team includes a full-time PGA Professional, and the store is part of the larger Edwin Watts and Worldwide Golf Shops network.
What Makes Them Unique
This store focuses on brand-neutral fitting. As a multi-brand retailer, they’re not tied to just one manufacturer and offer certified fittings for Callaway, Mizuno, Ping, TaylorMade, and Titleist. Their fittings use major brand fitting carts, and all purchases come with a 90-Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Fitting Philosophy and Technology
Fittings are performed using launch monitor technology and in-store hitting bays or simulators. They offer fittings for drivers, woods, irons, wedges, putters, and full bag set composition. Certified staff guide the process using data from the launch monitor and the latest fitting carts from all major brands. Custom club repair and regripping services are also available.
Who They Serve
Any golfer looking for equipment, from total beginners to scratch players, can get tailored club recommendations and bag optimization. The focus is on matching each player with the best gear for their swing and skill level.
Location and Accessibility
The shop is located on S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. in Baton Rouge, not far from the intersection with Coursey Blvd., in an area surrounded by retail and dining options. It’s easy to spot and has dedicated parking, making it a convenient stop for golfers in the Baton Rouge area.
