Jerry's Custom Clubs is an independent fitting and repair shop on San Pablo Avenue in Palm Desert. It opened in 1978 as Marc's Golf and took its current name in 2025.
The Fitter
Owner Jerry Molinar started at the shop in 1999, a year out of high school in Indio, working in the machine shop before he'd ever played golf. He took over the business in 2008. Over the years the shop has worked on clubs for tour players including Lee Trevino, Fred Couples and Sergio Garcia.
What They Do
Jerry fits drivers, hybrids, irons and wedges using a Foresight GCQuad, builds custom clubs in-house, and adjusts length, lie and grips on clubs you already own. The shop also handles repair and putter refurbishing. Jerry likes working with newer golfers and works swing tips into his fittings.
