GOLFTEC La Quinta is a lesson and club fitting center that, despite the name, sits in Indio on Highway 111. It moved to its current space in 2022.
Lessons First, Fitting Alongside
GOLFTEC is mainly a coaching business, and fittings can be bought on their own or bundled into a lesson plan. That works well for golfers who want to change their swing and their equipment at the same time. Center Manager Jason Jenkins leads a coaching staff that includes PGA Associates Justin Doyle and Nick Purcell.
Technology
The center has four indoor bays. Each bay has OptiMotion motion capture and a TECSWING simulator running on Foresight Sports technology, and there's an indoor putting green with TECPUTT stroke analysis. GOLFTEC fits clubs from Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Ping, Mizuno and Cobra.
