Club Champion Palm Desert is an indoor fitting and build studio on Highway 111. It opened in May 2019 and is one of only three Coachella Valley fitters on Golf Digest's 2023-24 list of America's 100 Best Clubfitters.
What to Expect
Fittings happen in two indoor hitting bays, so desert heat and afternoon wind don't affect the numbers. Full swing fittings run on TrackMan, and putter fittings use SAM PuttLab. A full bag fitting takes about three hours. A driver or iron fitting takes about 90 minutes.
Brands and Building
The studio is brand-agnostic and works from more than 65,000 head and shaft combinations, including harder-to-find brands like PXG, Edel, Miura and Honma. Clubs are built in-house by the same team that fits them: Jesus De La Torre, Danny Nicasio and Bryon Smith are all Master Fitters and Builders.
Cost
A driver or iron fitting costs $175 and a full bag fitting costs $400. You don't have to buy anything. Golfers who spend $1,500 or more in a year get a free fitting, TrackMan practice time, and loft and lie adjustments for life.
