Putter Fitting
Putter fitting focuses on matching the golfer with a putter that supports their natural stroke, improves aim, and helps control speed.
Unlike full-swing fittings, this one looks closely at factors like alignment, stroke path, face rotation, loft, lie angle, head shape, hosel style, grip size, and overall head weight. Small differences in setup can make big changes in how consistently the ball starts on line.
During a putter fitting, the fitter evaluates how the golfer aims the putter, how the head moves through the stroke, and how the ball rolls off the face.
Tools like high-speed video, pressure mats, and launch monitors that measure skid and roll can be used. The goal is to select a putter that feels comfortable, fits the golfer’s natural motion, and produces a predictable roll.
When the putter is matched correctly, the golfer gains better distance control, improved accuracy, and more confidence on the greens.
