Blueprinting

Blueprinting is the process of checking and matching every specification of a set of clubs to ensure they perform consistently.

This includes loft, lie, length, swing weight, shaft flex, and even how each shaft is oriented.

The goal is for every club to feel and behave the way it’s supposed to so there are no unexpected gaps or variations from one club to the next.

Fitters or builders use blueprinting when assembling new sets or refining existing ones. Even high-end clubs can fall slightly outside their stated specs, and small differences can affect distance, launch, and consistency.

By measuring and adjusting each club, the builder creates a set that flows properly from top to bottom, giving the golfer predictable performance with every swing.
