Shaft Fitting
Shaft fitting focuses on selecting the right combination of shaft weight, flex, torque, profile, and length to match the golfer’s swing.
Because the shaft is the engine that delivers the clubhead to the ball, even small differences in how it loads and unloads can affect launch, spin, dispersion, and feel. A well-fit shaft helps the golfer swing naturally without compensations, producing better contact and a more predictable ball flight.
During a shaft fitting, the fitter evaluates swing speed, tempo, transition, release point, and impact patterns. They test different shaft models to see how each one influences launch monitor data and the golfer’s feel. Adjustments might include changing tip stiffness, using a counterbalanced option, or moving to a different weight class. When the right shaft is selected, the golfer gains better rhythm, improved consistency, and a flight pattern that fits their game.
