Hybrid Fitting
Hybrid fitting focuses on choosing the right loft, head shape, shaft profile, and length to replace long irons or fill distance gaps between fairway woods and mid-irons.
Because hybrids are designed to launch the ball higher and land softer than long irons, the fitting looks carefully at launch angle, spin, and how easily the golfer can make solid contact from different lies. The goal is a club that’s easy to hit, predictable in carry distance, and reliable from the rough, fairway, and tee.
Fitters test different hybrid lofts and models to make sure each one fits cleanly into the golfer’s gapping chart. They also look at shaft weight and tip stiffness, since hybrids often need a profile that blends iron-like control with wood-like launch.
A well-fit hybrid gives the golfer confidence on longer approach shots and eliminates distance overlap or weak spots in the top end of the bag.
